Musing Adopting A Growth Mindset
We are bombarded with political, economic, and general public debate on a daily basis. The abundance of opinions and ideas is fueled by constant media and social media posts, articles, and blogs that insist that yours, or mine, is superior to someone else's. It creates a scarcity environment in which we develop a fixed mindset - where opportunities are limited while threats seem unlimited. A fixed mindset results in feelings of desperation and frustration because the work cannot be satisfying because success does not exist. But what if we have it all wrong? What if it's not our strategies or tactics that aren't working but instead it's us? Could the problem be something that we believe? Something as simple as choosing to think differently about our own abilities as well as others? I explore these issues in this video.
