I have realized that some African Americans/black Americans look down on Africans and some Africans look down on African Americans/black Americans. I tackled the "why" question and what we could do about it. Many immigrants will be able to relate to my experiences with this.

Most African Americans are well-educated, doing well, working, and living well. I hope you watch the entire video to see where I am going. I’m suggesting that we should not look down on each other because of preconceived notions. Contrary to popular belief, many Africans are living large and living in thriving cities.
All African Americans are not the same and neither are all Africans. We are beautifully diverse, yet we can have unity in the diversity.
Black people in America had socio-economic issues that created a divide, they were not given loans with low-interest rates, they were denied jobs they rightfully deserved, they were redlined and more. Even with all that black Americans thrive, succeed, and make it in every sector but that is not what some Africans understand. I hope this makes sense.
