This is Why Black History is Banned in 2024
Black history is an important part of the greater historical record. Its removal from the curriculum would have a lot of negative consequences. Prohibiting the study of black history would contribute to cultural oblivion. Black people's and communities' experiences, accomplishments, and contributions would be erased. It would also perpetuate historical injustice because accurate records of the past would be unavailable.
