Chaka Khan came through for her first-ever VladTV interview, which was conducted by Luenell. Chaka detailed her life story during her sit-down, including getting married at 17 so that she could sign a record contract, and joining the Chicago funk band Rufus, which kicked off her career in a major way. Chaka then spoke about her solo career and collaborating with some of the greatest artists of all time, including Prince, who Chaka said tricked her into meeting him at the studio for the first time. She also addressed how she gave Kanye permission to sample her famous song "Through the Fire," which she later regretted because of how he sped up her voice for the chorus on "Through the Wire."
